MyPortal
In keeping with the spirit of innovation that has been a hallmark of TiM’s management systems, TiM has developed support tools at several levels. At the base level, is the MainMan-21™ information management system. As with most such systems, it is optimized for the routine transacting of data and the generating of static reports.
TiM has taken the next steps beyond this, however, and created a unique user portal, “MyPortal.” As a result, MyPortal stands out from others in that it provides useful information and has the capability of notifying the user when a problem arises. MyPortal is a password protected portal where customers may select from a variety of useful reports with one or two mouse clicks and access key information on their equipment status 24 hours a day.
As part of TiM’s ongoing commitment to excellence, MyPortal will be incorporated into the new TiM web site in 2006. That incorporation will include the expansion of MyPortal beyond reporting to include a multi-use information terminal – part dashboard, part report generator, and part decision support toolbox.
