TiM Overview
TiM is a regional service organization providing medical equipment technology and asset management solutions and other clinical engineering services to hospitals, integrated health systems, and alternate care providers on a contracted basis. The Company was founded by Saul Aronow, Ph.D, and Raymond Peter Zambuto in 1974.
TiM’s headquarters, located in Holliston Massachusetts, includes the Saul Aronow Center of Excellence, a learning and training facility for computer aided instruction. TiM uses the Center for staff training, professional meetings, and customer seminars.
The company is committed to deliver high quality services at competitive prices and to focus on the development of strong, long-term relationships with its customers, to better understand their needs and priorities. TiM has become a technical resource center for health care institutions, which is unique in New England. The TiM team of highly proficient clinical engineers, biomedical equipment technicians, academicians, managers, and special consultants applies proven problem solving techniques to problems in medical equipment maintenance and management, environmental control, and facilities development.
By sharing a pool of individual specialists and their support facilities, each hospital can draw from TiM as much talent as it needs. This provides a cost-effective alternative to consultants, manufacturer service contracts, or in-hospital staff at most institutions. It also provides a depth of experience in blending technical advances, current clinical practice, and cost considerations, which the individual institution cannot match.
TiM provides to its customers a trusted, independent clinical engineering resource whose actions and decisions are not influenced by commitments to manufacturers, vendors, or others. TiM's sole responsibility is to its clients. The company, and its professional staff, subscribes to high standards of ethics and performance, placing the welfare of the patient as the prime concern.
