Gold PAC Asset Management
The Company's flagship service, Gold PAC, is a comprehensive asset and technology management plan that offers maintenance, repair, and support services to medical equipment at a fixed cost. Under Gold PAC, TiM customers have the choice of either using the company's own technicians or other vendors for equipment services. By guaranteeing to cap costs, TiM assumes the risk of unexpected high maintenance costs on one or more pieces of equipment. TiM mitigates this risk through onsite management of the repair process and by reinsuring repairs on high-risk items which are outside of TiM’s core competence. TiM utilizes the expertise of many original equipment manufacturers and qualified independent vendors as an adjunct to provide the level of service required by TiM customers. TiM utilizes only resources which conform to the standards of excellence and reliability which customers have come to expect of TiM. These resources bring additional values to the customer through the synergies of the partnership, including preferred pricing, quick response, and depth of expertise. The Gold PAC price reflects the anticipated mix of service between vendors, based on the most cost effective maintenance solution for each item. When subcontractors or partners are used to provide service, TiM reviews and pays all invoices from such vendors and monitors the appropriateness and quality of their services. TiM's staff will also work with in-house biomedical departments to create a total support system for all medical technologies in the institution. Each plan is custom designed around the capabilities of the in-house staff, to supplement their expertise with technical support, management systems, and budgetary guarantees. Professional Support Options are implemented through TiM's clinical engineering consulting program. To achieve its Vision of being the Gold Standard, for managing healthcare technology, TiM has been extending its Gold PAC service to cover other high technology equipment, such as in telecommunications and information technology, bringing its support of health care technology to an Enterprise-Wide level.
